We are seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals for our two new classrooms (1st grade and K3-K5).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and the ability to acquire a DPI Paraprofessional license.
  • Training and instruction or licensure in the following areas are recommended, but are not required: a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development or related field.

We are seeking a Montessori assistant teacher for our two new classrooms (1st grade and K3-K5). The assistant teacher will work directly with the lead teacher and will assist in establishing and maintaining a harmonious classroom. Assistant teachers will collaborate with the lead teacher to prepare and maintain an orderly, attractive and joyful environment. They provide another pair of observant, attentive eyes and ears to the classroom. Assistant teachers are also crucial in modeling courteous and respectful behavior as well as contributing to the warm, supportive and calm atmosphere that is the hallmark of an authentic Montessori environment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma, the ability to acquire a DPI Paraprofessional license

Highly preferred:

  • Training, instruction, or licensure in the following areas: a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development or related field
  • Passion for the Montessori philosophy, combined with excellence in communicating this philosophy to parents and other community members
  • Prior experience in an urban public school or charter school setting
  • Interest in working towards a Montessori diploma is also desired.

We are seeking a Montessori trained Primary Teacher (K3-K5). This candidate will work directly with staff in his or her room and will be the main educator in providing instruction and establishing and maintaining a harmonious classroom.

Requirements:

  • An Educational License (Early Childhood through Middle Childhood (EC-MC) PK – 6) DPI 1088, 1777 or 1083 and Certification or training in a Montessori Certified Program (AMI or AMS)

Highly preferred:

  • Training, instruction or licensure in the following areas: a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development or related field
  • Experience in communicating the Montessori philosophy to parents and other community members
  • Prior experience in an urban public school or charter school setting
